Roxy admits she’s broke and begs the Hotel Manager to give her five minutes. Roxy accuses first Billy, then Julie, Shirley and Glenda of stealing her money. Ronnie couldn’t care less about the disastrous wedding; she just wants to marry Jack. Eventually, Glenda distracts the hotel manager long enough for the marriage ceremony to take place.
Back in Walford, Kat and Alfie return to the Vic, but their celebrant has already left. They agree to combine Jack and Ronnie’s reception with theirs. Ronnie asks Kat why she sacrificed her day. Kat reveals she knows about Ronnie’s abuse and tells Ronnie she understands – a similar thing happened to her.
Later, Ronnie leads Kat out to the Square where Alfie’s waiting in a heart made of candles.
Stacey realises Julie’s wearing her shoes. Roxy’s searches Julie’s handbag, finding stolen items but not her money. Julie flees, Billy follows. Julie reveals she’s wearing an electronic tag. She admits she stole things to make her room at the hostel feel like home. Billy isn’t fazed by Julie’s revelations and gives her his shoes.
Back at the Vic, the reception’s in full swing. Ronnie tells Roxy she’s glad her money’s gone, they’re finally free of Archie. Jack and Ronnie head off on honeymoon. Phil and Shirley celebrate in a hotel room, on a bed covered in Roxy’s cash.
Lauren packs her bags, she’s going to live with Tanya. She thinks Max killed Archie. Max insists he didn’t and reassures her that Archie’s killer isn’t dangerous. At the wedding reception, Max and Vanessa dance and Stacey cuts in. Lauren accuses Stacey of throwing herself at Max. Stacey tries to reassure Lauren, they’re just friends, Max promised to look out for her. Lauren tells Max she’s worked it out – his precious Stacey is Archie’s killer. Show less
