John Inverdale is joined by athletics superstars Michael Johnson, Denise Lewis and Colin Jackson for more coverage from the track at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, including:

Caster Semenya will start as favourite for the women's 800m and the South African is aiming to add the Commonwealth title to the World Championships gold she won 14 months ago in Berlin. Defending champion Janeth Jepkosgei of Kenya looks like her biggest rival, having recently returned from injury.

The men's 10,000m features England's Chris Thompson, who won a European silver medal this summer behind team-mate Mo Farah, who has opted not to compete in Delhi.

An experienced English quartet also line up in the women's 4x100m, an event where the Caribbean nations are expected to take all the beating.

The commentator team trackside is: Steve Cram, Paul Dickenson, Jonathan Edwards, Brendan Foster and Phil Jones.

There is also more semi-final boxing action from the flyweight, lightweight, welterweight, light-heavyweight and super-heavyweight divisions. Commentary comes from Jim Neilly and Richie Woodhall.

John also brings highlights of the second women's hockey semi-final and latest news of the bowls and diving competitions. Show less
