Linden returns from his religious retreat, avoiding Faye but nurturing a new young doctor through her first shift. He fails to protect her when a patient throws acid in her face, disfiguring her for life. Distraught, he tells Faye that it's over.

Connie struggles to prepare a presentation and a tricky patient procedure in order to get the job as DOS. She loses her patient in theatre, but delivers a good presentation and wins the role.

Jac finds it difficult settling in on Keller following her promotion, as the "team" are still livid with the way she treated Ric. She eats humble pie, by getting her hands dirty with a patient. Show less
