They find Liam sitting on the roof of the refreshments kiosk in protest - he doesn’t want to go to King Edwards, and isn’t coming down until he’s allowed to go to Walford High. Carol’s impressed when Lewis climbs up onto the roof and talks Liam down, reassuring him about his new school. Later, Bianca returns home and finds Lewis and Carol, who have obviously just had sex. Ricky visits Sam, and asks her if she used protection when she slept with Jack. Peggy arrives, Sam goes into labour.

Lucy asks for her belongings to be sent to Devon. Jane tells Ian she doesn’t want to adopt a baby anymore. She suggests a holiday, and Ian agrees to get her some money. Jane tells Denise she was able to set up an online bank account in her own name. Ian takes Jane and Bobby for a picnic in the park, he tells he decided against getting her the holiday deposit money and asks if she’d like to adopt Bobby, Jane says yes. Denise’s thrilled, until Jane reveals she’s still leaving Ian –this way she can fight him for access.
