Tiffany finds Carol looking through Bianca’s handbag. Carol follows Bianca and overhears her talking to ‘Bobby’ on the phone. Working on the Masoods’ stall, Zainab fuels Carol’s suspicions about Bianca. Zainab’s comments soon make Carol defensive and in retaliation she mentions Syed. Upset, Zainab heads home. Carol phones Bianca, and can hear someone in the background. Carol tells the kids she’ll always be there for them, even if their Mum and Dad aren’t around. Zainab sacks Carol. Carol tries to clear the air. Zainab warns Carol that some things can’t be undone. Bianca arrives home, the kids are thrilled that she’s still alive! Bianca confronts Carol, insisting she’ll never desert her children. Carol’s not convinced. Later, Bianca’s knicker drawer in hand, Carol announces to everyone in the square that Bianca’s having an affair – again.
Peggy dresses up for Ken’s visit and holds a barbeque in the square. When she realises it’s Jim’s birthday, Peggy railroads Dot into allowing the barbeque to be in his honour. Unfortunately, Jim has a fall and can’t come. Peggy’s furious with Shirley for inviting a crowd of homeless people, but allows them to stay after Ken praises her ‘charity work’. Peggy has the champagne on ice – but when Ken discovers that Peggy hopes to stay on as landlady, he has some bad news, the brewery don’t employ people over thirty.
Janine and Ryan announce their engagement. Billie comes home and breaks up with Whitney.
Jack thinks the club’s nearly finished, but when Roxy visits R&R it’s nowhere near ready. Ronnie covers, the painters are just a little delayed. Ronnie can’t find another decorator and tries to stop Jack coming to see the club. Roxy arrives with a tin of paint and offers her services, but first insists that Ronnie admits she needs her help.
