Talking to the police, Jordan shifts uncomfortably as he learns that Ben could face up to four years detention. Hearing how uncharacteristic Ben’s violence was, Denise is left dubious.

She gently probes Jordan who eventually confesses to having bullied Ben. Denise informs a disbelieving Lucas. As Denise insists they must tell the police, Lucas boils and almost goes for her, to Denise’s shock. He storms out. Lucas returns to the sleazy bar. Having chatted up a tarty-looking girl, Lucas suggests they go somewhere quieter. Escorting her out, Lucas’ smile fades.

It’s the day of Ben’s court appearance. Ritchie Scott explains that if Jordan were to admit provocation, then Ben’s sentence could be more lenient, but points out that Jordan must not be approached. Shirley seeks out Denise. As they face-off, Jordan appears and is terrified as Shirley challenges him. Meanwhile, Phil threatens a furious Lucas. Learning that Shirley spoke to Jordan, a furious Phil fears she will have jeopardised everything.

Lucy sits her exam. When it’s over, her paper is simply filled with drawings. Lucy approaches Adam and asks for his help; she wants to cheat.

Sure that Jodie’s out of Darren’s league, Max advises Darren to lie about his life. Darren tells Jodie he owns the car lot. On their date, Darren’s attempts to impress Jodie are almost scuppered when Heather asks him to babysit. Darren comes clean about George. To his relief, Jodie’s unfazed. Darren’s shocked on learning that Vanessa is Jodie’s mum and is also married.

As he’s about to lead Jodie into the office, he sees Max and Vanessa having sex inside and quickly shuts the door.

In an effort to keep both Whitney and Carol happy, Billie organises a meal with both of them before he leaves for training, much to their displeasure. Show less
