When a spot opens on the cheer squad, Porter uses his magic to make Carl an expert cheerleader and Carl quickly gets a spot on the team. With his new-found skills, it is not long before Carl wrests the squad spotlight from Brittany, the former star cheerleader, and she quickly hatches a plan to get him kicked off the team. Meanwhile, after Jane discovers that the final chapter of her new favourite book, Cosmonaut Claire, has been ripped out, she embarks on a quest to find out how the story ends.
