Billie’s back, but Carol gets to him before Whitney, and Max takes them to hospital – Jack’s getting worse. They arrive to find an empty bed, and Chelsea none the wiser. Max loses his temper with Billie, who feels miserable.

Things get even worse when Bianca arrives with Dot, and blames him for everything. Carol sticks up for her son. Max assures everyone Jack’s going to be fine, but takes Billie to one side and reveals Jack could be dying.

Dot sees Billie in turmoil and reassures him. She says a prayer, and as everyone closes their eyes, Billie slips out. Carol goes after him, just as Dr Steele comes in with good news. Carol tells Billie she needs him. Whitney arrives. Billie announces he’s joining the army.

Janine tells a bemused Ryan that she’s going to get a job. Later, she’s reminded of Jack by Liam. She admits to Ryan she’s been affected by the shooting and wants to help – she’ll manage R&R.

Stacey learns Ryan and Janine are together, and wants to get her letter back. She turns up at their flat and manages to sneak it out of Ryan’s bag. At home, she tears it up.

Phil throws a party for Louise. Shirley, Zsa Zsa and Ben are roped in to help. When Louise arrives, Ben and all his efforts are forgotten. It’s the last straw when Louise claims she wants rid of Shirley, prompting Ben to seek revenge.

Danny’s keen to gain Peggy’s trust. He comes up trumps when he arrives at Louise’s party with a surprise – a chocolate bunny.

Minty asks Billy to move out. Billy and Heather realise they’re both looking for flatmates – but it’d never work. After a change of heart, he turns up on Heather’s doorstep. Show less
