Shirley pressures Heather to find out who George’s father is. Shirley threatens to leave Heather if she doesn’t find out. Meanwhile the potential fathers Phil, Minty, Darren and Billy are back at the Vic. Heather remembers the pain of her own father walking out.

She tells Shirley she doesn’t love George’s dad and doesn’t want to risk him walking in and out of his life. However, Heather makes a phone call from her hospital room just as all the suspects’ phones ring. Heather leaves a message, telling that person that he’s now a father. But who was she calling?

Shirley begs Phil for help to get rid of the drugs and get her money back to keep her promise to Heather. Phil goes to Jack and blackmails him to get Shirley’s money. Jack gets the cash for Phil but when he demands the drugs in return Phil pours it over the floor. Jack is furious.

Peggy is feeling the worse for wear after yesterday’s escapades in the ice cream van. Billy and Jay suggest a loft conversion so they can stay living in The Vic but Peggy admits she is broke. Billy and Jay are back to square one; homeless.

Darren and Libby are trying to keep news of their engagement quiet but when Darren produces the ring at Tamwar’s birthday do at The Vic, word gets round and the champagne is out. That is until Denise gets back from holiday and finds out, pulling the plug on the party. She’s not having Libby marrying Darren. Meanwhile Ronnie is developing an interest in Owen. Show less
