Zainab pretends that she is felling unwell and Masood is suspicious so doesn’t pass on the message that the book club is cancelled. Zainab is dressed up and ready to go out when the book club arrive at her house. She can’t get rid of them so texts Bob to say she will be late. Masood confides in Jane that he thinks Zainab is having an affair but Jane is not convinced. When Zainab goes to her meeting it is not with Bob but her son, Syed.

Roxy receives a solicitor’s letter from Jack. They spend the afternoon in the park with Amy and have a good time. They are getting on well and later Jack rips up the solicitor’s letter and they kiss.

Dotty shows Nick a picture she has drawn of her dream house where they will live once Dot is dead. Dot finds Nick in the kitchen and tells him to leave but he says he only wants to see Dotty. He returns the money he took in exchange for Dotty. Nick tells Dotty that from now on they will follow his plan and they agree to start making Dot appear confused.

Heather spends the afternoon with the Brownies, while Phil and Shirley spend the afternoon at the flat. Heather returns unexpectedly with two brownies only to find Phil drunk and half naked in the kitchen. Heather rushes the girls out before they see him.

Patrick is unhappy that Theo is back on the scene but eventually gives his blessing for Chelsea’s sake. He still can’t forgive Tommy but thinks it’s time he sought forgiveness from Ruth’s family. They won’t let him in the house and this makes Patrick even angrier with Tommy. He heads off to the hospital to confront him. Show less
