It’s Tiffany’s birthday. Bianca berates Ricky for having paid Ian to hold the party in the café, but she later begins to see Ricky in a different light on seeing how good he is to the family. Tiffany tells Bianca she wishes Ricky was her dad. Looking uneasy, Bianca confides to Shirley that Ricky might be Tiffany’s father.
With Danielle’s abortion having raked up bad memories, Ronnie regrets not having prevented her from having the abortion. After confiding in Dot, she decides the best option is to distance herself from Danielle. Meanwhile, Danielle excitedly plans telling Ronnie the truth of who she is and envisages their future together as mother and daughter. Stacey is sceptical. Danielle considers telling Ronnie before her next pill and keeping the baby. Ronnie calls to say that she won’t be taking her to the clinic. Danielle asks if she meant what she said about having the baby being the biggest mistake of her life. Lying, Ronnie says she wishes she’d had an abortion. At the clinic, when asked where her mother is, referring to Ronnie, Danielle replies that her mother is dead.
Linda tells Christian that she’s going to go back to Roger, despite his protestations and offer for her to live with him. Christian fails to turn up for Linda and Roger’s farewell drinks but as they leave, Linda catches sight of him.
Bradley loses Gumbo. He’s thrilled to have him returned by Syd, an attractive girl with a dog of her own. He invites her in.
As Minty, Garry and the boys play a game of ‘Snog, marry or push’. Heather overhears them mention her name and is devastated to hear that they don’t even consider her to be a proper woman.
