One Minute Wonders

Episode 3

Duration: 30 minutes

First broadcast: on BBC One LondonLatest broadcast: on BBC Two England

A look at the amazing things that happen every 60 seconds.

Blink and Missit work out that 245 babies are born on Earth every minute, making an awful lot of noise and poo. Unlike some butterflies, who do not poo at all, but do taste with their feet.

They also discover that the world is getting heavier, and how it could lose weight if only it took up kissing! They learn that everybody stars in their own movies, and that the largest desert on earth is actually very cold.

A cartoon lipstick comes to visit, and they test who can tap faster, a woodpecker or a human being. It turns out that teapots are just plain dangerous, and the sun can make humans and hamsters alike much happier. Show less
