Dotty presents Dot with a hand-made card for Jim. Dot is delighted but later reveals to Bradley that she hasn't told Jim about Dotty, she just hopes Jim will be ok about his new granddaughter. Dot receives a call from Jim's care home and discovers Jim has had a fall so can't come home for a visit. Dotty is upset and Bradley ends up suggesting they visit Jim at his care home. Bradley, Dot and Dotty return from visiting Jim upbeat. Bradley and Dot are impressed by Dotty's sign language which helped Jim communicate. As Bradley and Dot discuss how great Dotty is, Dotty secretly meets Nick.

Janine tells Billy she's got an interview to be the Manager at R&R with Jack. Ronnie isn't happy when she finds out. Janine offers to run an event for free - if she does well she gets the Manager's job if not she's out. Later Janine sounds Jack out on how he would feel if she could get Ronnie to sell her half of the club.

Tanya and Max blame each other for Lauren's refusal to come home. Later Tanya apologises to Jane but then asks her to get Lauren's new number from Peter - Jane isn't happy, she doesn't like being used. Peter eventually gives Jane Lauren's number. Tanya leaves a pleading message on Lauren's voicemail to come home. At the Vic Tanya and Max start to argue again but Jane interrupts them and tells Tanya Lauren is calling her mobile.

Christian delights in telling Ian that Fit For A Queen has a number of catering jobs on but is left disappointed when Ian refuses to allow Christian to use the Café to prepare the food.
