Zainab is shocked to discover Lucas is moving to Leeds. Later she’s even more shocked when Denise tells her Lucas proposed and she said no. Denise tries to explain her reasons but Zainab doesn’t believe her excuses. Annoyed Denise leaves. After talking to Lucas and Chelsea, Zainab tries to talk to Denise again but Denise refuses to change her mind. Denise then receives a text from Lucas telling her he will always love her. Zainab leaves in frustration. Denise calls Lucas but gets his voicemail. She rushes to the tube but is stopped by the ticket inspector. Denise shouts out for Lucas and asks him to marry her.
Ronnie moves in to her new flat but is surprised to find Danielle there. Danielle apologises and explains she had no where else to go. Feeling sorry for her Ronnie suggests she helps clean up the flat in order to appease Ian (who eagerly accepts the free offer of labour). Danielle can’t resist looking through Ronnie’s belongings when Ronnie pops out. She’s interrupted when Roxy arrives with Amy. Ronnie returns and is not happy to see Roxy. Roxy leaves and Ronnie takes out her anger on Danielle. Danielle rushes out – homeless again.
Billy’s day goes from bad to worse when he first receives a notice to quit on the flat he shares with Janine and Jay and then discovers Jay has been out all night. He’s even more worried when he finds out Jay has been driving around in a pimped up car. With Peggy’s help Billy tracks Jay down but before he has chance to stop him Jay speeds off.
Dot awkwardly answers Dotty’s questions about the new massage parlour, Gilly’s. She later shows Peggy an advert for Gilly’s in the paper. Peggy decides to organise a protest against the new premises. Show less
