Tony lies to Ricky that he caught Whitney sneaking out to a concert but Ricky still thinks Tony’s actions were uncalled for. Whitney assures Ricky it was her fault and begs him not to tell Bianca. Ricky eventually agrees not to for Whitney’s sake. Lucas suggests Tony talk to Lauren as he thinks Lauren seems to respond to him – Tony is delighted. Tiffany’s sponsored silence goes well until Whitney accidentally asks her a question and she responds – to make it up to her Whitney lies that Tiffany managed to stay silent for the whole day. Whitney waits at home for Tony whilst he sits in the Gardens with Lauren. Lauren opens up to Tony and he relishes comforting her – he tells her he thinks she’s a special little girl.

Phil receives a text from Heather repeating that Shirley loves him. He visits Shirley much to Heather’s delight but simply gives her her wages. Suzy discovers Heather’s text to Phil and tries to remind him how great she is but they are interrupted by Heather. Later Phil visits Shirley again. She asks him to give her a reason to stay and Phil kisses Shirley. Shirley lies in bed contentedly until Phil tells her he’s made a mistake. Phil walks out and Shirley breaks down crying.

Denise with Chelsea and Libby’s help gets ready for her date with Lucas. Lucas arrives and can’t keep his eyes off Denise. Their date goes well until Denise invites Lucas in for coffee and discovers Lucas has taken a vow of celibacy until he marries again.

Lucy decides to stand against Peter in the school election when Ian refuses to pay up his £1000 and demands she gives all the money back. Show less
