A series in which current and controversial issues are put on trial before Dick Taverne , qc, and an audience of jurors in Broadcasting House, London. Tonight's motion:
Britain Should Introduce Import Controls
It is proposed by Stuart Holland , mp. and opposed by John Pardoe
Each advocate will call supporting witnesses who will be questioned by each protagonist. The jury will vote at the beginning and end of the trial so that any swing of opinion may be measured and a verdict reached. Producer JENNY DE YONG (Repeated: Mon 11.5 am)
