John Inverdale is in Dublin for Ireland's Six Nations clash with reigning champions France, a match that could have a huge bearing on the outcome of this year's championship.

With Lansdowne Road currently undergoing a multi-million pound redevelopment, the impressive Croke Park stadium in north Dublin will welcome more than 80,000 spectators for Ireland's first-ever rugby international there.

The vast majority of those present will be hoping for a home win, and after an impressive autumn international series which included wins over Australia and South Africa, Eddie O'Sullivan's team will approach the game full of confidence.

That said, they will need to be at their best to beat a French outfit who will be determined to retain their title as they target a successful World Cup campaign on home soil in the autumn.
