When Todd and his pals encounter a family of crabs at the beach, the kids and the crabs are equally frightened of each other. Gathering their courage, Pickle and one of the crabs meet halfway between their camps. Boy and crab share several experiences that help to bond them, and the new friends endeavour to introduce their comrades into the mix. Soon, they realise they have plenty to learn from each other.
