A Sing-Song relayed from The Don Unemployed Men's Club, Trealaw

This Club was the first of about thirty formed in and around the Rhondda Valley by the Maesyrhaf Committee. It has filled a long-felt need in the district and its activities are varied including woodwork, shoe-repairing, physical culture, music, drama, wireless listening groups, and other educational features.

The Club is entirety self-governing and has for its objects rational recreation, social intercourse as well as mutual aid. The Club was fortunate in being able to obtain for premises an old mineral-water factory called The Don, and through the efforts of the members the building is gradually being turned into presentable headquarters.
