International Show Jumping from Hickstead featuring
The Edward, Prince of Wales Challenge Cup - Nations' Cup

Commentators DORIAN WILLIAMS and RAYMOND BROOKS-WARD
International Athletics from Crystal Palace The European Cup Semi-finals (Men)
The second day of competition for a place in the European Cup Finals in Helsinki. Only two countries of the eight competing will qualify, and every athlete will need to be in top form, as the loss of even one point per event could be crucial to the overall team score.
Ten events are contested today, including the 5,000m, 3,000m steeplechase, 800m and the triple jump. The highlights of today's ten events could be the 5,000m which features NICK ROSE of Bristol, selected in preference to Brendan Foster ; and the 3,000m steeplechase.
