Two years ago the Secretary of State for Scotland appointed a Committee, under the chairmanship of Lord Catto, to enquire into Scottish financial and trade statistics. Its Report has now been published, and in this talk Alastair Hethering ton analyses the new information that emerges from the Report concerning the fiscal and economic relations of England and Scotland.
