Birdwatch in the Camargue: Herons in the Treetops

on BBC One London

Live from the south of France
In their third report Tony Soper and Roger Lovegrove tell the remarkable story of the creation of a colony of tree-nesting herons-little egret, cattle egret and night heron. A special remote-controlled camera is right inside the colony to give unprecedented close-ups of parent birds and their newly-hatched young.
