Mr. Duguid speaks of the city of Sao Paulo which ' attracts the go-getters, the men of all nations and languages who hope to make their fortune.' He describes his meeting with the architect of a 25,000-iton skyscraper-the only one in the world which had to be shored up into place after it was built.
