The 1976 Open Champion, JOHNNY MILLER , captains the USA side, and the overseas challenge includes GARY PLAYER, who leads the Rest of the World team, and SEVERIANO BALLESTEROS , the young Spaniard who thrilled the spectators at Birkdale with his adventurous golf, finishing second only to the mighty Miller.
