Chiles Watergate
General Augusto Pinochet took over as the strong man of Chile in a military coup five years ago. His government has become one of the most controversial in the world and is now enmeshed in a major political scandal.
From Santiago, Michael Cockerell reports on Chile's own Watergate: an affair that starts with murder. Secret police agents, false passports, assassination plots and political betrayal are the ingredients of the scandal now threatening president Pinochet and his military junta.
