Ruslan and Lyudmila
Translated and adapted in five parts by Gary Yershon. The prologue of Ruslan and Lyudmila is one of the most famous pieces of verse in the Russian language. Pushkin uses images from Russian folk tales to establish the atmosphere of a wild land of forests bordered by the sea. Full of knights, princesses, witches and wizards, it is the epitome of Romanticism.
