Kathleen Cooper played for the first time in public at the age of eight. She entered the Royal Academy and then won a scholarship to the Royal College of Music, where she studied under Howard-Jones and Fanny Davies, finally going to Paris to finish under Cortot. In addition to having played in most of the important cities and towns in Great Britain, Miss Cooper has appeared in Italy, and two years ago went to Vienna.
