Campbell Burnap presents a tribute to Eddie Lang , the "father of popular guitar playing". Lang was a sylistic innovator who can be credited with virtually creating rhythm guitar. He worked with all the great names of his day, but died young in 1933. With contributions from some of today's leading guitarists, and featuring Lang with Joe Venuti , Bessie Smith ,
Lonnie Johnson , Bing Crosby , Bix Beiderbecke and others. Producer Roy Oakshott
