Otto Schenk has heard about the Electronome, the strange thought-machine in Hesikos. He plans its capture so that he can use it to stir up wars on Earth and thus enrich his armament firms. Dr. McKinnon and his friends-Jeremy, Asa, Janet, Spike, and Madge-decide to return to the Lost Planet to warn Solveg, Asa's father, who is ruler of Hesikos. But Schenk, accompanied by soldiers, lands close behind them-about a hundred miles north of their position, which is near the entrance to the underground city. He gives them twelve hours to bring the Electronome to his ship.....
