Among the voices heard telling the story are those of General (now President) Dwight D. Eisenhower, Supreme Commander, Allied Expeditionary Forces; General (now Field-Marshal) Montgomery, Commander-in-Chief, 21st Army Group; and Sergeant Hollis of the Green Howards, D-Day winner of the V.C.
