Julie Andrews , James Gamer 1930s Paris: Victoria, a down-and-out singer, meets Toddy, an entertainer who conceives a plan to pass Victoria off as a female impersonator. Soon 'Victor/ Victoria' is the toast of Paris.
But complications arise, in the shape of a handsome 'King'.
