Lindsay, Master of Balliol, will examine the teaching contained in the Sermon on the Mount in the light of its relevance to problems of the modern world. A. D. Lindsay, in addition to his academic interests, as Master of Balliol and Vice-Chancellor of the University, has also a keen interest in modern political matters, having stood a short time ago as Independent Progressive candidate for Oxford City.
