The Radio 3 Lunchtime Concert: Leamington Haydn Fest 2000: Haydn and the British Connection

Chris de Souza presents the second of two concerts from the Haydn festival at the Royal Pump Room in Leamington Spa.

Soprano Catherine Bott and fortepianist David McGuinness perform some of Haydn's music inspired by Britain, including English canzonets and his cantata The Battle of the Nile, plus songs by Thomas Linley and Stephen Storace.
