Karajan, Bohm and Jochum worked with both the Berlin and Vienna
Philharmonics, and Dietrich Fischer -Dieskau. Gundula Janowitz, the Amadeus Quartet, Emil Gilels ,
Michelangeli, Carlos Kleiber ,
Fritz Wunderlich , Martha Argerich , Leonard Bernstein , Itzhak Perlman and Daniel Barenboim produced a series of recordings that remain unsurpassed.
