Alistair MacLean 's wartime adventure starring Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood

Seven paratroopers, led by a British intelligence officer, are sent on a seemingly impossible mission. They must enter the almost impregnable Nazi stronghold "Castle of the Eagles" to rescue a high-ranking American officer. But the men's dangerous task is threatened by a traitor in the group.
