The British horn-player Alan Civil died on 19 March. In a sequence of his recordings, and with contributions from friends and colleagues including Norman Del Mar and Barry Tuckwell , his career as soloist, chamber musician and orchestral principal is celebrated.
Including performances of Bach's Brandenburg
Concerto No 1, Brahms's Horn Trio and Strauss's first Horn Concerto.
