Night Waves

on BBC Radio 3

Richard Coles profiles the painter
Euan Uglow as his intense Night Paintings go on display. Uglow painted slowly and finished only one or two pictures a year but when he died last year he was hailed as one of the great figurative painters of modern times. Plus new fiction from Icelandic writer Olaf Olafsson , whose work is already being tipped as one of the books of the year.
