Recentlyjilted Newton Davis 's single fling with waitress Gwen has chaotic consequences. Without his knowledge, quick-witted Gwen soon talks her way into his hometown, his house and the hearts of his parents by saying she is his wife. Unfortunately for "the happy couple", Gwen's tangle of lies threatens to tie them in knots.
