on National Programme Daventry

A series of talks about the countryside
Eric Parker
Eric Parker will discuss the different stages in the life of the dragonfly and will describe the various species. Why are they all called simply dragonflies? Why have the different species never been given different English names as butterflies have? Then he will deal with mayflies - speak of their life circle, and explain why we know so little about their early stages. Are mayflies decreasing?
