Chris Bonington and Tom Patey attack the final Crack and it is hoped that the leader will reach the summit of the Old Man durIng this live transmission. Joe Brown and Ian McNaught Davis and Dougal Haston and Pete Crew should by now be completing their traverse on to the East face.
