George Robey
George Robey has been appearing in the theatres and music-halls of Great Britain for nearly fifty years, but he is more than a Prime
Minister of Mirth, he is an observer of human nature, a collector of postage stamps and Chinese porcelain, he can ' pull a few notes out of his old violin' and make fiddles, too. He has played Falstaff in Henry IV in the theatre and Don Quixote on the screen. His broadcast talk in ' The Spice of Life' series was a classic.
