Composer of the Week: Bizet

As a winner of the Prix de Rome,
Bizet was entitled to have one of his operas staged at the Opera Comique in Paris. Although it survived only 18 performances, The Pearl Fishers later became famous for its duet Au Fond du Temple Saint. Fiona Talkington introduces highlights from the opera.
