Marc Riley's Musical Time Machine

on BBC Radio 2

1/6. Marc Riley unlocks the vault to the BBC archives to revisit tantalising rock interviews given at sensitive, timely and/or colourful points in music history. He starts the series with Steve Lamacq's 1997 Radio 1 chat with Oasis brethren Liam and Noel Gallagher, who came on air to promote their album "Be Here Now" but ended up in a verbal brawl from which Liam fled. And there's input from Jarvis Cocker following his arrest and acquittal surrounding his on-stage bare-bum sideshow during and responding to Michael Jackson 's performance of "Earth Song" at the 1996 Brits.
