on BBC One London

Best of today's action introduced by Raymond Baxter
Over a quarter of a million spectators this afternoon packed the Nurburgring for the crucial 11th round of the 1973 drivers' championship. Lapping the 14-mile circuit with its famous Karussel at nearly two miles a minute, top contenders Stewart and Fittipaldi fight for a decisive championship lead against a growing challenge from Peterson, Cevert, Hulme and Revson in motor racing's toughest test of driving skill.
