Miss Great Britain 1984

on BBC One London

Live from The Waldorf Hotel, London, Chris Kelly brings a touch of summer to the drabness of winter by introducing the finalists in this, the first beauty competition of the New Year. In the elegant Palm Court Lounge, 21 beautiful girls are guests and competitors at an attractive cocktail party, during which one lucky contestant will be crowned Miss Great Britain 1984 by the present holder, Rose McGrory.
Being British Heritage Year, the girls will also be seen on location at Leighton Hall, Carnforth, wearing day clothes of their own choice.
Interviewing the finalists, from BBC Midlands Today, is Kay Alexander, while Ray Moore produces all the facts and figures.
