Music in Education
This week Morning Performance takes a look at how music is experienced across Britain today. The series begins in Wales and features performances by the National Youth Brass Band of Wales and students from the Millennium Ensemble of the Welsh
College of Music and Drama. Members of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales join forces with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in a performance of Momentum by young Welsh composer Ceiri Torjussen, and members of the BBC NOW also contribute to a composition project led by composer John Metcalf with students from Gwynedd. Plus music from the National Youth Choir and a performance by young violinist Rakhi Singh. Presented by Nigel Seaman of the BBC NOW.
