Songs of Praise

on BBC One London

All Saints Day from Salisbury Cathedral
Salisbury is one of England's most beautiful and historic cities, and its pride is its magnificent cathedral, completed in 1258. On the day when we celebrate all the Christian saints, the young people of Salisbury have come together to sing their Songs of Praise, including one especially written to raise money to save the cathedral's spire.
Pam Rhodes talks to JOLIE
COMPTON and discovers why the spire is in danger. She also meets JULIAN PAISEY , who has been awarded the cathedral's first organ studentship.
For all the saints (Sine nomine): I will sing. I will sing: Songs of praise the angels sang (Northampton); Save our spire: Come, my way, my truth, my life: Spirit of God (Skye boat song); Glory be to God on high
