The Daytrip by JONATHAN RABAN
'Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. This is your Captain. Welcome aboard. The voyage to the Scillies will take us approximately three hours, and the bar and tearoom will shortly be open.' And on the daytrip are the repressed Chilworth who is a keen ornithologist and Netta, a heavy drinker. To add a touch of the bizarre the boat later has a coffin in the tearoom.
Produced and directed by RICHARD WORTLEY
