The Discussion Continued
As an epilogue to this series of programmes which ended on November 20, questions have been collected from those who heard it in groups. classes, or at home.
A selection of their questions is answered by DENYS HAY
Professor of Medieval History In the University of Edinburgh
The series did not set out to give a general picture of the Renaissance. but rather to examine particular aspects of it. such as its influence on our concepts of education. citizenship, and morality, and its permanent effect on our language. It is with questions suk-Kested by the programmes themselves, and not the themes that were omitted, that Professor Hay is concerned.
