Vice squad police woman Sydney Shannon is reaching the end of her career and the pressures of a lifetime of police work are beginning to take their toll. When her affair with the station commander comes to an end and her best friend suddenly commits suicide, Shannon turns to drugs and a tour of duty with her becomes a dangerous experience.
